Callery Pears – A Tree that Really Stinks

 

Love them or hate them, the white blossoms of the Callery pear tree (also known as Bradford pear) let us know that spring has arrived. Planted as a popular ornamental tree across the United States for decades, the rapid spread of volunteer Callery pears has been causing a lot of concern lately.
