We will visit various wetland and upland habitats, including flatwoods, fen, sedge meadow, swamp forest, emergent marsh, mitigation wetland, mesic prairie, and successional woods.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/orbisec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/unnamed.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1452 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/orbisec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/unnamed-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/orbisec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/unnamed-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/orbisec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/unnamed.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lunches are included in the workshop fee. He is experienced with setting up and conducting mitigation wetland monitoring projects and has conducted numerous aquatic plant surveys.<\/p>\n<p>Another aspect of Scott\u2019s services is providing plant identification training workshops. In addition to his experience focused on the flora, Scott conducts wetland delineations and other site assessments and participates in avian and other wildlife surveys.<\/p>\n<p>Scott prepares natural area management plans and provides other technical writing services. He is recognized for his expertise in Midwestern\/Great Lakes terrestrial and aquatic vascular plants, and his written work on the flora has appeared in several peer-reviewed journals including\u00a0<em>The Michigan Botanist<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The Great Lakes Botanist<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Phytoneuron<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Proceedings of the Indiana Academy of Science<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>Rhodora<\/em>.
